About The Outfit Angel

I’m Victoria, founder of The Outfit Angel. Fashion enthusiast, style curator and wardrobe organiser.

My love affair with style started early. I grew up watching The Clothes Show with my mum and I was enchanted by the outfits that I saw walking down the runway. I started reading fashion magazines, cutting out pictures and sticking them in a scrapbook (I still do that today!). I knew I wanted to work in fashion and was determined to get there somehow.

But I didn’t know what route I’d take. I didn't have the artistic talent to be a designer and photography didn't appeal. I definitely wasn't tall enough to be a model!

As I got older, I realised that people kept coming to me for help with what to wear, and I seemed to have an 'eye' for what looked good on someone.

It seemed that I was destined to become a stylist. Finally, I had found my path into the fashion industry, although it wasn't a straight line.

I studied archaeology at uni, worked a series of temp jobs and spent eight years in aviation before deciding to launch my own styling business in 2017. Then 2020 happened, which meant I had to shut the business down and go back to corporate jobs so I could keep the lights on and my cat fed.

I rode out four years in a customer service role, but knew that I was only working that job until the world opened up again.

If the lockdown years had taught me anything, it was that video calling technology means everything can be done remotely, even styling. All you need is a laptop with a camera and a decent Wi-Fi connection.

So in July 2025 I relaunched The Outfit Angel with fully online services so I could work with people wherever they are in the UK and dispense style advice to them from the comfort of their own homes.

Sessions are a true dialogue, because I know how intimidating it can feel to have a stranger telling you what to wear. Pets are actively encouraged to participate in your sessions, and I promise that I won't make you toss out your whole wardrobe.
