Dress Code Policy Reviews
When was the last time you looked at yours?

Dress codes are often the most neglected and outdated policy in any employee handbook, yet they shape how your organisation presents itself every single day.

Everyone assumes they know what “business casual” means, but the definition varies from company to company. In one organisation, jeans are fine with a shirt. In another, jeans are not allowed and jackets are mandatory. Without clear instructions, employees interpret and managers enforce inconsistently.

The demographic of the workforce has changed too. Policies written twenty years ago rarely fit today’s more diverse, modern workplace. Has your dress code been updated to reflect that shift?

If you want to modernise your dress code, that's where I come in.

I spent twenty years in corporate environments with every kind of dress code imaginable. I was “gently reminded” about my appearance more than once, but I could prove I wasn’t breaking any rules. You can't enforce a dress code that has vague language like "appropriate nail varnish colours." Who decides what's appropriate? Where is it written down?

In my consulting package I help organisations create dress codes that are easy to understand, inclusive, reflective of company culture and as airtight as possible.

Pricing depends on scope of review.
